ANALISIS WACANA PEMBERITAAN “UJIAN NASIONAL” DALAM PROGRAM KANAL 22 LPP TVRI STASIUN YOGYAKARTA PERIODE 13-23 APRIL 2015

Abstract At the National Examination 2015 the government implements a new system called Computer Based Test (CBT). This is a program where the national exam is conducted using a computer and does not fill out the answer sheet anymore. This study intended to describe the independence of TVRI Yogyakarta in broadcast news related to Computer Based Test. This program is considered more practical and efficient. This study focused on channel TVRI Yogyakarta program Kanal 22 on edition 13-23 April 2015. This research type is descriptive qualitative. Using discourse analysis by Teun van Dijk. With text analysis, researchers will see how the thematic, schematic, semantic, synthetic, stylistic and rhetorical elements used by the media to build the discourse of the CBT national exam program on the news program Kanal 22 in accordance with the journalistic code of ethics. This study has 2 conclusions, the first TVRI news station Yogyakarta is an independent news media and balancing. TVRI Yogyakarta news station is independent because they write news with facts and statistics. In the Journalistic Code of ethics, impartial independence, using balancing informants from each side have equal opportunity, and convey the facts. TVRI Yogyakarta news station presents a factual news, by presenting images that match with the news content. Provide accurate news, the interview statement with a relevant source. And also provide a balanced news, the sources not only from the government, but also from students and teachers. Therefore TVRI can be regarded as an independent media.
